Installation & Care

Step 1

Acclimate

Allow panels to acclimate flat in the installation space for 48 hours at 60-80 deg F and 35-55% RH.

Step 2

Layout

Set a level baseline and maintain a 1/8 in. expansion gap at floor and ceiling.

Step 3

Substrate

Install over solid backing: 1/2 in. or thicker drywall, plywood, or concrete with furring.

Step 4

Fasten

Drive 1-5/8 in. trim screws through reveal grooves into framing every 16 in. o.c.; adhesive may be used with mechanical hold at top and bottom.

Step 5

Cut

Trim panels face-up with a fine-tooth blade and seal cut edges with a color-matched wax stick or touch-up pen.

Step 6

Finish

Conceal fasteners with felt-color filler and inspect joints for consistent slat spacing.

Care & Maintenance

Dust regularly with a soft microfiber cloth or vacuum brush attachment along the slat direction. For spots, wipe with a damp, lint-free cloth and pH-neutral cleaner. Avoid solvent-based cleaners, ammonia, abrasive pads, and steam.
